As a child, I was always building car models, hotwheels, skateboards, bikes, whatever had wheels. I was constantly building bicycles, custom painting them with spray can paint, tearing apart my brother’s bike and using his parts to build custom bikes of my own. Throughout high school, I was in any shop class available. Metal Fabrication, Machining or Welding. As a sophomore & junior I built a 1 Seater Buggy with a 618cc, 2-Stroke Twin Cylinder Engine.I built it with Fully Independent Front & Rear Suspension. It was ahead of it’s time for the early-80’s. My first car was a 1955 Chevy 210, Two Door Sedan. As a junior in high school, I began modifying it. Before Boyd Coddington was milling out billet wheels, I was milling out a billet dash panel & stereo panel for my 1955 Chevy. In 1986 I started working at Danchuk Manufacturing. I stayed there for 15 years. After leaving Danchuk Manufacturing, I spent several years designing, fabricating & welding Concept Cars, Armored Cars & Trucks. This led to spending four years in Afghanistan & Jordan maintaining Special Forces Armored Vehicles. Classic Cars just keep coming back into my blood. There is a forever passion to building these cars & trucks. You will never find another professional shop that cares for your classic car or truck like Orange County Hot Rods!
